Who
Are The Women in Shared Ministry?
W.I.S.M.
are:
Lay leaders
Ordained Clergy
Pastors
Missionaries
Deaconesses
Grandmothers
Aunts, nieces,
sisters, and in-laws.
In essence, W.I.S.M.
is a coalition of women whose heart and purpose it is, is to do a greater work
for God in these last days. Yoked together through His blood, as the “body of
Christ” universal, we are women in homes, schools, jobs, ministries, and
centers, everywhere.
What
is the Purpose of W.I.S.M.?
W.I.S.M.
is an organization whose members walk in Covenant
relationship with Jesus and with each other, for the Glory of God and the Cause
of Christ in this dispensation. W.I.S. M. members desire to do a greater work
for the Lord, and believe that coalescing with women of like mind and spirit
will afford them the opportunity to do so.
Why a W.I.S.M. Coalition?
The Word of God promises that one can put a thousand to
flight, and two can put ten thousand. In essence, the work of God is multiplied
and made mighty when we walk in unison with a single purpose.
How
do you become a W.I.S.M.?
You can become a member of W.I.S.M. by contacting your regional
representative. There is no entry fee, no binding oaths, not club rules, no
constitutional mandates. Simply love God, desire to do His will, seek to work
to make “His kingdom come, His will be done”, confess belief in the whole canon
of scripture as the inerrant, inspired Word of God, given as revelation to His
body, the church, and you’re a member. That simple. Please refer to our
Directory for contact information.
I’m
already successful and fulfilled in my own ministry/church. What would I get
out of this organization?
That’s a good
question. Because we each have unique experiences, come from different walks of
life, and have different gifts in Christ, we can only be made better from our
exchange and interaction with each other.
In a more concrete
way, W.I.S.M. seeks to be a blessing to women in the Body of Christ. A summary
page with all of our member services is provided with this informational flyer.
Read it and see if you can’t help but be blessed by your affiliation with this
organization.
